WANTED:

Videographical proof that Tyrus Thomas' block-run-the-floor-dunk last night actually happened.

We are in the presence of greatness.

Also, here is a late entry to Wednesday's fashion throwdown. No Mas keeps it so fresh so clean with this ode to Wilt.

Yeah seriously can we talk about this? I fell asleep with NBA TV on last night and woke up at 6:15 this morning to that sequence. Half-asleep, I rewound it five times on TiVo (OK Time Warner DVR but you know TiVo is the new Kleenex). I even watched it at half speed to make sure he didn't actually TAKE OFF FROM THE THREE POINT LINE.

there are video highlights from the game there, including the block/dunk. The video wasn't working too well though, but my computer may be slowish.

Tyrus was spectacular in that play . Can he consistently do this stuff ? Let's hope he is not another overhyped baller like the Hawks' Marvin Williams !

Does Sebastian Telfair being investigated in connection with the Fabolous shooting make him more or less FreeDarko?

my favorite part of this watershed moment, i immediately had a "reignman-in-his-glory-days" flashback thanks to T2's early 90's length shorts.

Sick moves by TT, but the article Anon5:29 quotes shows it was done against Spurs B-teamers. I repeat my earlier statement that TT is "potentially FD".

TT dunking on guys who couldn't make the Knicks is less FD than if he'd done it on the guys who get paid-still it was sick.

That was pretty ill. The good thing about TT is that I hear he is a maaad hard worker. So it's not like we have another Stro-Swift on our hands.

cool dunk and errything, but after watching his transition to the nba thus far, "presence of greatness" is probably the LAST thing i would have thought of. more like "presence of skinny rook without a true position who's lost on defense." seriously, this site has some great articles sometimes, but it's starting to remind me more and more of the dude in my fantasy league who drafts jr smith and bargnani ahead of guys who can actually play nba basketball.

honestly. lots of guys who can run and jump have come and gone in this league without leaving much memorable behind. it's going to take more than that for tyrus to sniff greatness.
