Darko's Captor Claims Two More Victims
The New York Daily News reports that less than one week before the 2004 Olympics began, Larry Brown wanted Marbury and "another unidentified player" cut from the team and sent home. That's just the kind of gully shit that makes the Masters of the Klondike both love and hate LB, but what we want to know is: who was that unidentified player? Hmmmm....

this begs the eternal question: can one be gully in the service of the retarded? if so, sloan has to get some credit here. . .
any thoughts on the cavs signing donyell marshall?
mashall and hughes are both mysteries to me. both verastile as hell, both also prone to embarassment. who knows how the cavs will use them, how they will react. i don't know if they expect marshall to be their starting 4; kind of have to, considering th emoney, and the fact that everyone wants drew gooden dead. is lebron, marshall, and z a tough enough/rebounding enough frontline?
varejao starting and marshall coming of the bench. continue drew gooden's world tour by trading him to the hornets for speedy claxton.
marshall got annoyed last year when he didn't start, but that was on a much thinner team. also, considering that the cavs don't have any depth, having marshall shoot/score/rebound/block off the bench can hardly hurt things. i agree that varejao complements bron and z much better.
i would be surprised if they signed donyell to come off the bench. he's actually a very good rebounder, especially for his size. i think they also want his 3 point shooting. when are they going to finally sign jazkakeakafvvekvicus?
dammit, i need to read the news before i post! i guess jasikevicius is going to the pacers. i don't know why he would choose them over likely starting on a team with bron and big z. looks like the cavs will try to get jaric now. not sure how he will fit with that team, but they'll have a lot of size, ball-handling, and ball-hawking on the perimeter. they would have three guys who averaged over 1.5 steals a game last season!
Man I thought the Cavs had Sarunas, I guess that't the recruiting power of Larry Bird, that and the fact the Pacers should be damn good.
How is Jaric's game? He didn't look so hot when I saw him play but then again I didn't watch many Clippers games.
i saw the clippers play one game last season, and i remember jaric making an impression on me, just not whether it was a good one or a bad one...
I remember that he had impressive stubble.
