"we really liked his size and athleticism, and found out in our workout with him that he was much more skilled than we'd thought. but what really made this pick a no-brainer was andrew's myspace page, which shows he has tremendous upside in the humor dept. and could win day fill that void of personality left in los angeles by shaq's departure."

also i have decided that this has to mentioned at least once a week: "magic glazed into the crowd."

god bless you draft night. if we ever change the name of this blog, it should be to either:

1. no milk drinkers
2. how can i glaze the crowd?
3. martell webster's grandma's hat

(has anyone found a picture of that hat?)

i personally liked:

do you walk barefoot in the snow?

no, i'm black

that's pretty proto-shaq, as far as humor's concerned

i was going to include the "only in the mourning" one, but it seemed entirely too poetic, even if it only was a pun on his deep, deep feelings for his hero, zo.

too poetic to be true, i meant.

wow, this really is the ultimate nba dry stretch. i can think of literally nothing to say about basketball. where fore art thou, summer leagues?

So, Bill Simmons says if the Cavs were smart they'd trade LeBron now. This killed a lot of my brain cells, what do you think about this?

i owe my life to those simmons nba value trade columns and am getting ready to leave town, so i can't really get into it right now. suffice to say that, if the cavs don't get it together next year, he's gone. the least they could do is get a couple of borderline all-stars out of it.
