Bad like an errand

I think that this pretty much speaks for itself. I don't care about all the NFL politics involved, but make sure you check for the other major name.

Apparently he likes to take charges. That's all I remember about T.O.'s interest in hoops.

One of my most favorite trends in sports over the last few years has become the "if you can't make it to the NBA, become an NFL tight end" movement, since it seems to suggest that playing tight end in the NFL is easy, whereas the hyper-skilled rigors of the Association are not. This would only seem to support it: if you're one of the top five offensive players in the NFL, you should consider yourself lucky to make a summer league roster alongside a chubby, middle-aged rapper.

How does T.O. land a summer league appearance before Randy Moss? Moss could probably actually make an NBA team, and in fact, if you were, say, the Hawks or Hornets or some shit...in March...if you had about 15 wins, why wouldn't you bring in Randy Moss, or The Game, or JR Rider, or Dennis Rodman for a 10-day contract? That would be some Eddie Gaedel shit (midget dude who Bill Veeck got to pinch hit in a St. Louis Browns game back in 1951), but like...for a whole two weeks.

if memory serves, moss was white chocolate's alley-oop connect all through their high school days. moss could be a monster swingman; owens or gonzalez are at best under-sized 4's or slow 3's that fans like because they occasionally do something surprisingly stylish.

this is probably the part where shoefly chimes in with tales of iverson's secret past as an option qb.

didn't t-mac get drafted by some baseball team?

and i'm not really all that into the game, but anyone who hangs out with baron davis and arenas passes my "glory by association" test with flying colors

there was some thing on page 3 with dijon thompson where he said the game's game was "not horrible." high praise indeed.

i think t-mac was a pretty good pitcher, and AI was a monster option QB, defensive back, and kick returner. i think he could've had a decent career as a DB/return man. you know how fucking quick and tough he is.

I still kick myself over not driving to lakeland to see the Lakeland Blueducks led by Roy Jones Jr. face TO and the Minnesota Valley Dawgs. They both rode the pine though. As does lil Romeo who a friend of mine played against in AAU. Master P should quit going around saying that his kid is a top 10 player in the country.

Likewise, why not have someone like Jonathan Bender or the like try out as a red-zone WR? Isn't having a 6'10" option worth at least ten TD's?

bender cant stay healthy in basketball, he'd probably get injured in the huddle in football
