Darko Notes

SPREE TO THE D(troit). There is nowhere I'd rather see Spree. When he's not on the Wolves, I'm a Sprewell guy to the fullest, and let's just state the obvious that a season full of Spree-Sheed camaraderie would be outstanding entertainment.

Mark Cuban had a choice of releasing Tariq Abdul Wahad and saving $15mil in luxury taxes, but decided to save $36mil more by releasing the PILLAR OF THE ORGANIZATION to a pack of hungry contenders. Fin is nowhere near the same stratosphere that contract headaches Brian Grant and Jerome Williams are in. This whole amnesty clause bizness is madness. It'll be like the Payton-Mailman-Lakers saga every year, except without the ethical dilemmas.

Scoop Jackson's writing, FUNNY LIKE FUNNY PEOPLE:

"The month-long attempt to try to get [Joe Johnson] to relocate from PHX to ATL has become more comical than the Pamela Anderson roast that Comedy Central recently televised."

AND ESPN WONT EVEN GIVE US A LINK OF THE DAY?!?!?!!!!

fuck it, let the email campaign begin. let simmons and co. know that freedarko shall not be moved. that's certainly preferable to the other hair-brainted payback scheme i came up with last night, which was randomly inserting plagarized sentences of simmons into everything i write for the next six months.

this finley to miami business is stupid. there's no way my man wants to either end up in the thick or that or buried under it. he should go somewhere where he can do his thing, start, and help win a championship. that place, my friends, is called phoenix.

spree should be forced to go to detroit for strictly aesthetic reasons. they won't be as good without LB but they will sho nuff be funkier.

damn, i totally forgot that dallas had tariq abdul wahad...has he even played within the last 5 seasons? Sure finley made a lot of money, but damn at least he could still play and compete on a pretty high level

FREE DARKO IS AN ARMY!!!!
FREE THAT PHOTO OF PEJA THAT THE SPORTS GUY'S LINKS PRETEND THEY JUST HAPPENED TO BE LOOKING FOR ALL ALONG!!!!!

and btw, i have a real post planned later today. i have no plans to reduce this blog to a vendatta, no matter how funny the idea of that is, or how much it suddenly justifies talking to girls about freedarko.

Doesn't the whole Finley-to-Miami idea smell like the failed Lakers Payton/Malone/Kobe/Shaq quad-fecta? Didn't Shaq already have a role in this movie?
