Death of an FBP
Will someone please explain this sentence to me, or find an image?

And about Kidd's similar dye-job in 2000. . . let's be real here, Kidd at least has his racial ambiguity to fall back on. It just makes him look even more white than usual.

have you forgotten already about jason kidd circa 2000 with the blonde hair?

to quote a very great basketball player in a wholly dissimilar context: "today, i am unspeakably injured." he looks terrible; i feel like everything i thought i knew about ray allen has been shattered before my very eyes. the only thing that could explain this is if he's about to come out or pursue a career as a sisqo impersonator. FBP race is now wide open.
kidd looked even worse than ray allen (or sisqo) looks. it's pretty amazing how unlikeable j-kidd is, given that his hero (magic) and his role (spectacular pass-first point guard) are so incredibly likeable. how can a player be so selfless and selfish at the same time?
also, i think grant hill is hands down the leading candidate for FBP at this point. he's got the recovery from adversity angle, went to duke for four years, and he married a black woman, even though she is canadian (!) and very light-skinned.
FBP? Somebody fill me in on the acronym.
