The Tee

A quest that was altogether worth it. Watch the video and hear Lendale speak on it and his uncle Bernie, who apparently would've held the key to improving his draft standing.

dear shoals, this is your inner shoals speaking. you are putting this down in a semi-permanent fashion so that on a future date, you will be able to remind yourself that early this sunday, you vowed to follow your heart and completely give up on the national football league following the texans' non-drafting of reggie bush.

fuck football sense, fuck any superstitious need to associate this draft with your impending full-time move to houston--i have never, ever, been this profoundly disappointed in anything sports-related in my entire life. no matter how it all turns out, the damage is done.

they'd better have some bush merch printed up when i roll into NOLA two weeks from now.

basketball, take me away. . .

1. i would not be doing this if i had no readers
2. yes, i do have something better to do, but need to clean up some incompletes to come even close to getting an advanced degree.

good. i was a little annoyed that we even devoted 3 posts to the draft. our Association suffers many indignities, but none of them is greater than the annual question on PTI/ATH: "Whatcha watching, NBA playoffs or NFL Draft?"

8 weeks of buildup devoted to the bloated 2 day death-march, where it’s clear to even the most casual of college football fans (i.e. me) that the GMs and talking heads have no real idea what’s going on. fuck, the Texans should have at least had the decency to say it was just a money issue.

and one Chauncey tee does not a Martell Webster's Grandma's Hat make.

as a green-winged nba draft fiend, i find all matters of draft soothing, even if after pick 20 i'm totally lost and afraid.

reggie bush is most definitely an nba issue.

and obviously this lendale obsession is a cheap ploy to get links.
