Free running is a physical discipline, in which participants (Free runners) attempt to pass all obstacles in their path in a smooth and fluid way. Free runners interact with their environment using movements such as vaulting, jumping, somersaults and other acrobatic movements, creating an athletic and aesthetically pleasing way of moving.
it's tark's name. george ackles totally got dissed. as i keep pointing out whenever this shirt is mentioned, ackles made the league (briefly); anderson hunt did not. no disrespect to anderson hunt, who was my favorite player on the squad. him and augmon. i was never a grandma-ma or greg anthony fan, the former because he was a little too much for me, the latter because i heard he was a republican.
I didn't like UNLV back then, but I've grown to appreciate them, especially when he and Zo formed a short-lived partnership for my Hornets.
I don't think we'll ever see a non-major just run motherfuckers out of the house like that. Yeah, George Mason made the Final Four and Butler's insane this year, but Mid-Majors will always be the Plucky Underdog, not the Scary Black People that 89-91 Running Rebels were.
Parkour fans outght to check out the French action movie District B-13/Baneue-13. Makes casino royale look like me running around the yard.
BRE - It's true Greg Anthony was/is a repub - he was in the UNLV Young Republicans.
I loved Anderson Hunt because he gave up his scholarship to make money off his t-shirt company and paid for school that way. Well, that and from Richard "The Fixer" Perry.
And Darren, Gimmel, Aminu, Anthony...(was there a "Travis" on that team? Didn't Travis Ford come along later? And was Nurse Espinoza from Scrubs the woman in the old ESPN2 "Move the Line" commercials? Is anyone with me still?)
I have long been of the opinion that Anderson Hunt was about 8 years too early - The A just wasn't ready for a 6'1 scoring 3rd guard yet.
Pooh - I am totally with you about Anderson Hunt, but I've repped him before around here. I actually checked on Nurse Espinoza (Judy Reyes) - it doesn't look like it's in her filmography, but I totally remember those move the line commercials.
This article about Yao and Tmac on the Jimmy Kimmel show is pretty cool - and what I like is it showcases big man's personality. He's a funny funny dude.
Off-topic: Tomlinson supports the "basketball > football" discussion from earlier. SI's Dr. Z:
"It has been mentioned that LaDainian Tomlinson does not have a showy post-TD routine. Which does not mean that he takes no interest in the way scorers might react in the end zone. He said that in high school, for instance, a layup, with one hand behind the back, was the popular means of expression. But why a basketball shot? ***"It always goes back to basketball,"*** he said after ringing up 31 TDs on the register last weekend. ***"Football players want to be basketball players, and baseball players want to play golf."***"
Hello all, Anyone remember George ackles, UNLV star? He didn't pay his storage bill and I bought all his stuff today at auction. Didn't know it was him until I started digging in. I got some great stuff for sale. lvnvenvy@cox.net

That is the most FD non-basketball image I've ever seen.
And free running was in that fucking sweet chase scene in Casino Royale.
Don't see too many people rocking the Bobby, Christian, Brian, Grant and Thomas shirts, do we?
freerun = parkour = amazing

the thing is, nyc, boston and chicago are the establishment old cities. philly, itself and essence are purely FD.
wait, whose name is under Greg Anthony's? George Ackles? David Butler? Moses Scurry? (one of the best all-time college bball names ever)

Looks like it says "The Shark".

Rome-Gil, did you really have 12 hamburgers before a game recently?
0-no,no,no. Where was that, musta been Minnesota, huuummmm (sexually undressing the meat patty, no homo). Yeah, Minnesota. had 6 burgers.
Rome-6 not 12.
0-Yeah, 6 huummmm, then a couple of chicken burgers.
This is a personal favorite "free running" clip.

wv jxbdvi: Was that really Wesley Snipes dancing?
Someone needs to make a shirt with John & Sean & Richie & Travis & Jamal.
People from all backgrounds can throw that one on, and others will have to guess which aspect they're actually rocking.
I'd like that undercrwn shirt a little bit more if the last name there was "Bice"
I met Travis Bice at the UNLV basketball camp - he had on a shirt that said "Two for you" and on the back "Three for me"
John & Sean & Richie & Travis & Jamal.
And Darren, Gimmel, Aminu, Anthony...(was there a "Travis" on that team? Didn't Travis Ford come along later? And was Nurse Espinoza from Scrubs the woman in the old ESPN2 "Move the Line" commercials? Is anyone with me still?)

T- I've been rockin the crown for long enough that I'm grandfathered in.
Anyone know who makes those UNLV (and other first-name list t-shirts)?
Link?
I think I saw them at a Chicago-based retailer, but I cannot remember where.
T.- I thought the same thing about Bice.
Anderson Hunt= the proto/ur-Rashad Anderson.
@anon 10:09, that's the undrcrwn people are mentioning. You can see their lineups here.
that tee is so sick
