Nobody But You

My resident expert on all things Latin is too busy watching the Cowboys to help me translate this, but assures me that someone gets called a queer at some point. Enjoy!

My favorite part is when the camera guy says something to the effect of "Are you are real Dominican or not?", to which Garcia response "Sh*t, I'm more Dominican than you!" He explains that he was born, and lived, in DR for 12 years, in the capital ("Santo Domingo", for some odd reason, is general what Dominicans call DR; "the capital" is what they call Santo Domingo").

Nothing says Dominican barbershop like Alfonso Soriano, Miguel Cabrera and "The Big Papi".

For the record, Garcia doesn't pay for his haircut. It's always on the house for Francisco. (The appropriate nickname for "Francisco", in Spanish, by the way, is "Paco").

Why do I know people named Cisco, then?

Probably because nicknames differ with region/dialect, just like a Puerto Rican will kick your ass for calling him "vato" but Mexicans use "vato" like "dude." The Paco/Cisco thing is probably a choice like Ed/Ted for people named Edward.

Or, as El Presidente said, it means they're gay. Either way.
