Word to Brandon Jennings

The playground moves, the handles, and the dimes were all impressive, but the biggest impact Jennings had on the McD's game was the highly unexpected return of the high top fade! Willie Warren's cut was on point, too.

couldn't agree more, 'zona always gets cool point gods. jason gardner and his high socks, miles simon and his shaved dome and clutch play, gilbert and his swag, now jennings and the flat top.

Bibby still has anti-swag.

Does this mean Kevin Love will bring back the mullet?

i read recently that edgerson was teaching 5th grade somewhere. i can't remember if i was dreaming or not, though.

you're right, my bad on the gardner, it was terry i was thinking of. i think the jason first name had me confused.

Yeah, I heard that, too. Makes sense: He was an education major, and a little older. I don't think he was in school just for the fuck of it.

i watched this game. kid's got a slick do and swag to boot. i wanna see him go far.

personally, the MickD All-American game was a little disappointing. with the exception of jennings, jrue, and some scrappy lil' dude named kimba walker, i was really not that impressed. even tyreke (who was MVP) seemed a little dull, for lack of a better word. i worry that he'll become something like jamal crawford redux, but i really really don't want him to.

greg monroe was very unlike Timmy, despite comparisons, and Samardo Samuels has weird eyebrows.

The game was pretty underwhelming. Kemba Walker was nice, as was Jrue Holiday and Jennings. Jennings actually had a little too much swag, actually. Greg Monroe may be more Tim Thomas than Tim Duncan. Samuels will be a beast in college, though.

My Heels looked pretty good, a lot more disciplined than cats like Tyreke Evans, who was ball-hogging like crazy last night. I was not feeling his game at all, even though he had a couple of sick moves.

Heels took down Washington State tonight. No one's come within 20 points of UNC this tournament.

too much swag as in TO style team destroyer or too much swag as in buckwild artest?

i just don't think too much swag exists. the more you have, it just sloughs off onto teammates.

too much swag might exist. it at least needs to be accompanied by a similar level of skill/earned reputation. i like noah's unique brand of swag, but i also can see where his new teammates might not.

By "too much swag," I meant like a flashy pass that leads to a turnover where a simpler pass would have worked. The key to competitive style is that it works. A missed 360 is still a miss.

Too much swag as in grab the spotlight and single handedly flush your team down the toilet. Granted this is an allstar game but from the onset this kids only goal was to be the guy everyone talked about. He has skill, but his "swag" was calculated. That shit comes natural, this kids a fraud.
