Well, I didn't really like your "he got really scared and so he didn't even try and that's okay, it humanizes him" analysis. Today's game was, perhaps, even more depressing, as he somehow managed to go 25-19-10 and still suck. On how many possessions did he either (a) stand in the triple threat position for 10 seconds and subsequently turn the ball over, or (b) pass to an incompetent rolling Varejao? The bad shooting's one thing, but to constantly be making bad/passive decisions with the ball for two games in a row, that's troubling. Since when is this guy Vince Carter? This is just way more humanity from LeBron than I can tolerate.
