What Power Rankings Would Be

For your pleasure, JaVale McGee and Henry Threadgill in our latest video collaboration with Outside the NBA.

Also, big news that's not such news anymore: Ziller left the Works and we cried, but Eric Freeman showed up to replace him. Our first week has been lots of fun. Samples:

-On Monday, John Hollinger, Derrick Rose, Russell Westbrook, Black Swan.

-Also Monday: Aliens in the NBA.

-Wednesday: The New Yorker starting five.

-Today: Steve Nash/Jeff Bridges and the numerology of streaks.

There is also some more serious stuff but I am trying to pander. Enjoy your weekend!

Threadgill? And I thought Dylan was good last week. Fan-freakin'-tastic.

Is good you show JaVale McGee love because some people don't recognize the true reality of his natural talentedness and ability-aticness. I live in DC and I'm lookin' forward to the day he becomes an all-star.

Great vid. I like how he swats with precision, never smashing the ball out of bounds but always thwacking to a teammate or off the backboard or, best of all, bouncing it off the floor.

Whoa, huge three team deal completely overhauls the Magic? I'm sure this will get a full post. I await.

Also, I naturally thought you meant the Nassim Nicholas Taleb book when you said Black Swan. It's almost apt, but sort of in the opposite way.

Kind of been waiting for the Darko take on the trade. I for you one am fairly excited about the potential of a Wiz team minus Gilbert. Let the Wall-era begin in full. I think Shard may play better with less pressure and perhaps force Blech to shed some pounds or sit on the bench.

JRich is a notorious Celtics killer, but Turk looks DONE! Any conspiriacy theorists want to get on the Turk and Shard were doing cycles and once Shard got caught they both stopped (think Manny and Big Popi) and now can't compete at a high level without them? Anyone?

Me neither.
